Mud Pies provides creative consultations and integrated designs based on permaculture principles.

A creative consultation may open the door to new possibilites for your property. Consultations typically run between one and four hours but may be longer if necessary.

Integrated designs are based on a systems approach. We do not design in isolation but look to larger life patterns. Integrating elements is about building beneficial relationships, considering how elements relate to you and to each another. By integrating a design we are able to create more stable systems in hopes of stepping closer towards sustainability.

Elements in a design may include but are not limited to:

  • Water harvesting systems
  • Earth building, plastering and creative finish work that is non-toxic, healthy and beautiful
  • Playground design/build that is fun, imaginative and non-toxic
  • Kitchen and herb gardens
  • Composting systems
  • Outdoor kitchens

    • We can custom build the following:

  • Chicken Tractors
  • Worm bins
  • Solar Food Dehydrators
  • Earthen pizza and bread ovens

  • Opportunities to learn to process the abundance of fruit and vegetables grown on your property though preserving, canning and dehydrating
