About Mud Pies

Permaculture is a movement started by Bill Mollison and David Holmgren in the 1970’s. Some simply describe it as "permanent agriculture" or "permanent culture". Permaculture is more than just sustainable agriculture. Permaculture is a comprehensive approach to design, looking at each aspect as a multi-functional part of the whole system. The goal of permaculture is to establish integrated systems that mimic nature, maximizing the efficiency of all its parts. As designers we aim to create diversified and abundant landscapes.
